Co-parenting, organized

Talk less about the conflict. More about the kids.

  • Private to the two of you
  • Messages can't be edited or deleted
  • Every message timestamped

Tense messages get rephrased before they're sent, so every message stays neutral.

Sound familiar?

Co-parenting is hard enough without the group texts, screenshots and he-said-she-said.

"I never agreed to that."

Plans get lost across texts, emails and phone calls. With SharedGrounds, what you both agreed to is written down, with the date and time it was said.

"Every message turns into a fight."

When a message sounds tense, it's rephrased before it's sent, with a calmer version suggested if you want one.

"Who paid for the braces?"

Shared costs, receipts and who owes what, tracked in one list both of you can see, instead of a spreadsheet one of you keeps.

Everything in one place

The tools co-parents actually use, every week.

Messages that stay calm

A private conversation with your co-parent, built to keep things civil and on the record.

  • Tone check. Tense messages can't be sent as written. Rephrase it yourself, or use the calmer version we suggest.
  • Nothing disappears. Messages can't be edited or deleted by either parent.
  • Photos and PDFs. Send a school notice or a receipt right in the conversation.
  • Search everything. Find what was said and when, in seconds.

A calendar you both trust

Pickups, appointments and school events in one place you can both see.

  • Invite your co-parent to an event and see when they accept.
  • Changes land in one place, so nobody misses a handoff.
  • No more "you never told me about that."

Shared expenses, settled

Log a cost, attach the receipt, and split it. Both of you see the same numbers.

  • Split each cost by the percentage you've agreed.
  • Mark as paid, or raise a question about a charge.
  • A running total of who owes what.

If it ever comes to that

Records you can hand to your lawyer.

Most families never need to go back to court. But if you do, you shouldn't have to piece together years of screenshots.

  • A permanent history. Every message is timestamped and can't be edited or deleted, by you or your co-parent.
  • A private log. Write down incidents as they happen, with photos. Only you can see it.
  • A document vault. Keep custody orders, medical records and school documents together.
  • One-tap PDF. Export your records into a single, organized PDF with CourtReady.

Start your record today. Every message from day one is kept.

Questions

Good to know.

What if my co-parent won't join?
You can start on your own: set up your calendar, log expenses, keep private notes and store documents. When your co-parent accepts your invite, you'll be connected and can message each other.
Does my co-parent have to pay too?
Each parent has their own account and plan. That keeps your billing and payment details completely separate from each other.
Can messages be deleted or changed?
No. Once a message is sent, neither parent can edit or delete it, and that includes photos and files. That's what makes the history something you can rely on.
How does the tone check work? Does an AI read my messages?
It keeps every message neutral: if a message sounds tense, you'll be asked to rephrase it before it's sent. That check uses fixed rules, not AI: it runs on your device as you type and again on our servers when the message is sent, so it can't be skipped. If you turn on suggestions, the message is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to write a calmer version you can use, or you can always rephrase it yourself. Suggestions are off until you choose to turn them on, and you can switch them off anytime in Settings.
Can I use SharedGrounds records in court?
SharedGrounds gives you a complete, timestamped record and can export it as an organized PDF. Whether and how it's used is up to you, your lawyer and the court. We're not a law firm and don't give legal advice.
Who can see our conversation?
Only you and your co-parent. Your incident log and document vault are private to you: your co-parent can't see them.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Your plan starts after 3 days unless you cancel before then. You can change or cancel your plan at any time.
